Former Ravenna resident, June I. Bowersox, 72, died Saturday, Sept. 25, 1999, at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights after complications from a stroke. Born Nov. 14, 1926, in Hawthorne, Pa., she was the daughter of William and Bertha (Drayer) Bish. She was raised and graduated high school in Hawthorne, Pa. She lived in Ravenna 27 years and moved to South Russell three months ago. Survivors include her husband, Ed, who she married in 1946; son, Bud Bowersox of North Olmsted; daughter, Connie Green of South Russell; four grandchildren; and three siblings. Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Kindrich-McHugh Steinbauer Funeral Home, 33375 Bainbridge Road in Solon, where services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg
