Obituary: The Olympian Newspaper Jan/2008

It was on a bright and sunny day December 31, 2007 that our beloved mother passed on in Olympia, WA. Mom was born December 17, 1933 to Troy & Maragert Dooms in Dryad Wa.
On June 7, 1958 Mom married her life partner Joseph Kinney.
She loved bowling with family and friends, playing bingo on the weekends and playing darts with her sons.
Mom's favorite things to do was to watch her sports team "The M's", playing solitaire and watch game shows. She enjoyed collecting sports cards with Dad, even though she would only collect her favorite teams cards. Her favorite gitf to recieve was lottery scratch tickets.
Mom and Dad moved to Cowlitz Timber Trails in Salkum, WA to spend most of their retirement years. There she enjoyed feed the raccons, deer and any other animal that migh happen by.
In 2000 Mom wanted to move back to Olympia, WA to be close to her family.
Ethel is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Joseph Kinney of Tenino, WA, four children: Roger Kinney and Kelly Kinney of Olympia,WA, Patrick Kinney, and Trina Wakefield both of Tenino, WA. One daughter-in-law, six step children, seven grandchildren, three gr-grandchildren, one brother and five sisters.
Preceeding her in death is one daughter, Tina Marie Kinney.
Ethel was loved very much and will be missed greatly.
