Mrs. W. A. Campbell, age 75, died Sunday, January 1st. at her home on Route C. after an illness of five weeks.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday following from the residence with Rev. Tip Grider of Troy in charge, after which interment was made in Good Hope Cemetery.

Mrs. Campbell was a consistent member of the Christian Church and hers was a consistent Christian life.

She was united in marriage to W. A. Campbell 55 years ago the of union eleven children, three dying in infancy and son J. G. Campbell having died five weeks ago in Beaumont, Texas, the body having been returned to River Falls for interment. It was the shock of this bereavement which was the primary cause of Mrs. Campbell's death, her friends stated. She never rallied from the shock caused by the news of her son's death.

She is survived by her husband and seven children. They are Mrs. V. L. Smyly and Mrs. J. W. Register, Andalusia; Mrs. Robert Clark, Rt. C.; Mrs. B. M. Hall, Red Level; Angus Campbell, River Falls; Jenkins Campbell and Rora Campbell, River Falls.
