The son of Daniel & Abigail (Ogden) Silliman, he was baptized on May 12, 1695 at the Christ Church in Fairfield, Conn. In about 1716, he married (1) Anna Burr, and (2) Ann Wilson, widow of Daniel Wilson in about 1741. He was a deputy to the General Court in Hartford representing Fairfield in 1734-6.
His will dated Jan. 28, 1752 and proved Dec. 5, 1752, refers to his widow, Ann, and the prenuptual agreement;
First Society of Fairfield 100 pounds and a silver cup;
Grandsons: John Silliman Andris (son ofo daughter Sarah), Moses Burr (son of Abigail), Nathaniel Adams (son of Mary);
Daughters: Sarah (wife of Daniel Andris), Abigail (wife of daniel burr), and the late Ann who was wife of Nathaniel Adams;
grandson, Daniel Wilson (son of daughter, Mary, deceased);
Daniel Rowland and son-in-law Daniel Andris, executors.
