Pioneer Resident Gonzales County Dies at Smiley
John Anglin, one of Gonzales county's old pioneer residents died at his home near Smiley Sunday afternoon, and funeral services were set for 3 o'clock this afternoon, with burial in a Smiley cemetery. Smiley Masons we're to have charge of the burial services.
Mr. Anglin had been a resident of the Smiley section for many years and was well-known over the county. He had been in failing health for some time.
