Funeral services will be conducted at St. John's Lutheran Church Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Augusta Covington, 71, who died late Monday night at her residence, 520 South Street.
Rev. A. L. Wolff will officiate at services. Burial will be in the Old Lutheran Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Vinson Stucke, George Stucke Jr., Burney Anderson Jr., Herbert Stucke, Floyd Covington Jr. and Armand Jones.
Born in San Antonio, Mrs. Covington was a member of St. John's Church and also a member of the Ladies' Aid of the church and the of Woman's Benefit Association.
She is suvived by her husband, John H. Covington; a son, Floyd A. Covington; two daughters, Mrs. B. F. Anderson and Mrs. Hortense Searle, all of San Antonio; two brothers, George Stucke of Fredericksburg and Fred Stucke of San Antonio; two sisters, Mrs. Tom Johnson and Ms. Louisa Rehn, San Antonio, and nine grandchildren.
