OBITUARY :
FALL FATAL TO L. M. WATKINS - Well Known Retired Undertaker Dies At His Home

LUTHER M. WATKINS, well known retired undertaker, died last night at 9:30 o'clock at his home, 43 1/2 East Franklin street, from the effects of injuries he sustained when he fell last Thursday. In the fall he suffered a broken arm and dislocated shoulder. He was 80 years old.

Mr. Watkins was a charter member of Trinity Lutheran church and a Councilman Emeritus of the church; also a member of Woodmen of the World, Norman Council Jr. O.U.A.M.; Sioux Tribe of Red Men and Junior Fire Company.

He is survived by the following children: Miss Bertha F., and Miss Myra E. Watkins; Mrs. Scott F. Minnich and Dr. L. Leroy Watkins, all of this city; Marryatt A. Watkins, of Welsh, W.Va.

Funeral Thursday afternoon, services at the house at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. Dr. J. S. Simon officiating. Interment in mausoleum in Rose Hill cemetery.
