Mrs. Ethelyn B. Braun, 75, died Saturday night in the Statesboro Nursing Home after an extended illness. The Bulloch County native had lived in Brooklet most of her life. She was a member of the Brooklet First Baptist Church. Mrs. Braun is survived by two sons, Lowell C. Mobley, Norcross and William C. Braun, Statesboro; one sister, Mrs. Sallie Mae Horton, Savannah; two brothers, Jesse H. Baker and Lewis T. Baker, both of Brooklet; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The funeral service for Mrs. Braun will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the chapel of the Smith-Tillman Mortuary. Burial will be in the Brooklet City Cemetery. Nephews will act as active pallbearers. The body will remain in the chapel of Smith-Tillman Mortuary until the funeral hour. Smith-Tillman is in charge of arrangements.
