"Mrs. Pearl Anna (Niehus) Lamcool, 75, of Sioux City, IA, died at 10 PM Saturday, Dec. 30, 1961, in the Lutheran hospital there, after a lingering illness. She resided with her daughter, Mrs. Robert E. Linder of Sioux City.

Born in Lafayette, she resided here until moving to Sioux City in 1953. She was a member of the Sioux City First Presbyterian church. She was married to Karl J. Lamcool in 1907; he died in 1939. Mr. Lamcool was a former employee of the Monon railroad.

Her daughter is the only immediate survivor. The remains will be returned to Lafayette, IN, for services; burial in Spring Hill Cemetery, Danville, IL." - Lafayette Journal & Courier - Mon 1/1/1962 (Obituary provided by Vonda)
