In North Loup, Neb., November 27, 1895, Obadiah D. VanHorn, in the 61st year of his age.
When thirteen years of age he united with the Seventh-day Baptist Church at Stokes, Ohio. He has always found a church home with our people. He was a man true to his convictions of duty, always seeking the purest and best of life, and loved, honored and respected by all who knew him. In his last conscious moments he commended his soul to God, and prayed for his family and neighbors. Five sons and one daughter, a wife and only brother, are left to mourn their loss. J. H. H.
