Cayce - Service for J. Steve Bonnette, 83, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, January 28, 2001, at State Street Baptist Church with burial in Riverside Cemetery in North. Dr. Pete Cassidy will officiate. The family will receive friends from 7-9 this evening at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home and other times at 336 Creighton Drive, Lloyd Wood Subdivision, West Columbia. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice. Mr. Bonnette died January 25, 2001. Born in Orangeburg County, he was a son of the late Lonnie Eola Robinson Bonnete. Mr. Bonnette retired from SCETV and was a member of State Street Baptist Church. He was married to the late Mary Reed Bonnette. Surviving are daughters, Toni Lee, Boiling Springs and Bonnie Dilley, Port St. Lucie, Fla.; son Larry Bonnette, West Columbia; sisters, Viola Jackson, Pittsboro, N.C., Seydell Kennedy , Mt. Pleasant; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
