Thomas Troy Zieman Sr., owner and president of L.A. Zieman and Co., died Thursday at a local hospital. Zieman, 90, served on the Downtown United Board of Mobile. He was a member of the Rotary Club. The lifelong Mobilian attended Spring Hill High School and Loyola University. He was a parishioner of Little Flower Catholic Church.
Survivors include his son, Thomas Troy Zieman Jr.; his brother, Edward Harris Zieman; and six grandchildren. Visitation will be at 11 a.m. today at Little Flower Catholic Church, with Mass of Christian Burial at noon. Burial will be in Pine Crest Cemetery. Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Camp ASCCA in care of the Rotary Club of Mobile, 103 Dauphin St., Mobile, AL 36602.
