MRS. ALLEN

Coleman – Services for Mrs. W. A. Allen, 81, of Coleman are pending at Stevens Funeral Home here.

Mrs. Allen died at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in Overall-Morris Memorial Hospital at Coleman.

A member of the Church of Christ, she had lived in Coleman County most of her life.

Born April 14, 1889 in Ellis County, she married William M. Allen Jan. 16, 1907 at Coleman. He died in 1958.

Survivors include four sons, William Vernon Allen of Coleman, Floyd E. Allen of Winters, Horace E. Allen of Melvin and Elvin R. Allen of Hamby; three daughters, Mrs. Jesse Fryar of Goldbusk, Mrs. Moody Copeland of Coleman and Mrs. Bill Futrell of Midland; one brother, Erna Priddy of Comanche; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
