Rheda Kay Jones, age 51, a resident of Russellville, died Sunday, September 19, 2004, at Russellville. She was born March 20, 1953, at Russellville to the late Robert Ashmore and Myrtis Hassel Ashmore Church. She was a 1971 graduate of Russellville High School and Capital City Business College. She was a former employee of Kerr-McGee Oil Company in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Northwest Airlines in Oklahoma, and Entergy Operations, Inc. at Arkansas Nuclear One in Russellville. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, E. E. and Edna Overby Ashmore; her maternal grandparents, D. C. and Lennie Ethel Dollar Hassel; and a husband, William "Billy" Weinmeister.

Suvivors include 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Gerran and Alicia Williamson Pyles of Russellville and Jason Pyles of Fort Smith; her mother and step-father, Myrtis and Royce Church of Russellville; a brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Elaine Ashmore of Plano, Texas; a sister and brother-in-law, Paula and Al Freedle of Russellville; 3 step-sisters, Joyce Stewart of Fontana, California, Linda Benge of Citrus Heights, California, and Brenda Applegate of Las Vegas, Nevada; 3 grandchildren, Jacob Pyles of London, Jesse Pyles of Barling, and Hali Pyles of London; a nephew, Mark Ashmore of Russellville; 2 nieces, Stephanie Cullum of Corinth, Texas and Amanda Ashmore of Plano, Texas; Mark and Stephanie's mother, Patricia Ashmore of Pflugerville, Texas; Hali and Jacob's mother, Amy Cottingham of London; an uncle, Bill Ashmore of Hope; 3 aunts, Peggy Lawrence of Hector, Polly Johnson of Russellville, and Ada Pendergraft of Russellville; and other relatives and friends.

The family will conduct a memorial service at 5 p.m. Wednesday, September 22, 2004, at Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church at Oak Grove with Mr. Larry Ashmore officiating. There will be a private burial at Rest Haven Memorial Park at Russellville under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service.
