She is survived by daughters, Kim Hereford Hudson and husband Ed of Lewis Center, OH, and Kay Hereford Voorhees and husband Jay of Antioch, TN. She is "Nana" to her grandson, Chris Hudson and wife Brin; and granddaughters, Kelley and Katie Hudson, and Grace and Anna Voorhees. She is also survived by her sister-in-law and best friend, Ruby Allison Flowers of Columbia, KY; brother-in-law and wife, Thomas and Carolyn Hereford.
Jean Hereford was a graduate of Lindsey Wilson Junior College in Columbia, KY, and the University of Kentucky at Lexington; and was one of UK basketball's most avid fans. She was a member of Bellevue United Methodist Church, and a fiercely devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Memorial service was held at the Bellevue United Methodist Church, the Rev. David Rainey presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Mrs. Hereford to Bellevue United Methodist Church or the Allison Fund of Lindsey Wilson College.
