SARAH M. YOUNG

Sarah Mae Young, 77, 127 First Ave., No. 4, died of complications following surgery Dec. 17, 1974, in a Salt Lake hospital.
Born Oct. 30, 1897, Huntington, Emery County, to Alfred Gideon and Sarah Suzanna Hunt Chidester. She married Howard Edward Young Sr. April 25, 1928 in Salt Lake City, and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include sons and daughters, Howard Edward Jr., Frank, both of Sandy; Irene Johnston, Arlene Butterfield, both of Salt Lake City; Deloris Witt, Granada Hills, California; 36 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, John of Orem; Levi, and Wanda Johnson both of Ogden; Anna Berry, Springville; Juliette Dean, Pleasant Grove; Maurie Hill, Pocatello, Idaho; Lavira Lewis, Cover, Pa.
Funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m., 6500 S. Redwood Road, where friends may call one hour before services. Burial at Redwood Memorial Estates.
