George Beigh died at his home near Packerton Sunday night after an illness of several months duration from a complication of diseases followed by hemorrhage of the bowels.
He was past 77 years of age and was a brother to Mrs. John Adams, of this place, who now is the only surviving member of a large family of children.
The funeral was held yesterday - Wednesday - forenoon at the Ulrey church, five miles east of Silver Lake and was attended by a large concourse of relatives and friends. Interment was made in the cemetery near by the church.
Mr. Beigh is survived by a wife, several children, one sister and a host of other relatives.
