Deceased Name: ALBERT A. DEJOHN
Albert A. DeJohn, 73, of 102 Clover Ridge Drive, died Thursday at the Veterans Administration Hospital after a short illness.
Born in Syracuse , he was a life resident of the Syracuse area.
Mr. DeJohn was a former employee of General Motors where he worked for 21 years. He also worked for Reynolds Ford for over 20 years in body and fender repair.
He was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church.
Mr. DeJohn was a Veteran of World War II in the U.S. Marine Corps League, and he was a 32nd degree Mason.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Mulholland DeJohn; three sons, Albert of Syracuse , Robert of Cicero and Brian of East Syracuse ; a daughter, Linda Mitchell of East Syracuse ; four brothers, Arthur of California, Frank and Sidney of Florida and Roland of Detroit, Mich.; three sisters, Lenore Crowley of Syracuse , Rosemary Feliton of California and Rita Daniels of Florida; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Farone & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1500 Park St. and 9 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated.
Burial will be in the Pine Plains Cemetery in North Manlius.
Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
