Ethel Carter 85 of Merkel passed away peacefully at her home with family by her side Thursday 8/18/2011. Graveside services will be held today at 2pm at the Rose Hill Cemetery.
Ethel Carter was Born to William Benjamin Richards and Leona Nelura in Waco Tx on August 25, 1925. Ethel spent the early part of her years in Waco and eventually moving to Merkel to spend the rest of her life. She was a very loving Wife, Mother, Sister and friend. Ethel leaves to cherish her memory 1 son Alpha "Buck" Carter of Merkel.
She was preceded in death by Husband Alpha Carter, Both Parents, and 1son Ben Carter. Services entrusted to Dove Funeral Home of Abilene
