Lou Madeline Good, 65, of Stanley, died on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.

She was born on Dec. 14, 1940, in Sperryvile and was a daughter of the late John Sawii and Peral Elizabeth Atkins Dodson.

On Aug. 24, 1962, she married Donald E. Good, who survives.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Cindy Good Tate of Stanley; a son, Donald E. Good Jr. of Stanley; a sister, JoAnn Buracker of Sperryville; two brothers, John Marshall and Netus Sawii Dodson, both of Sperryville; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Jane Elizabeth Vest and Peral Nadine Atkins; and two brothers, Mac Vernon and Maurice Wayne Dodson.

Burial in the Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray.
