Bertha Lee Offenbacker, 97, formerly of Silver Springs, Md., died on Friday, Nov. 12, 2010 at Calvary Assisted Living in Burtonsville, Md.

She was born on Dec. 14, 1912 in Stanley and was a daughter of the late Frank H. and Nettie Lee Meadows.
On Aug. 23, 1935, she married Simon William Offenbacker, who died on May 5, 1973.

Her only survivors are nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred W. and Obie Edward Meadows.

Burial was in the Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray.
