HUBERT GEORGE MILLER

Hubert George Miller, son of Hervey and Hattie Miller, was born on Oct. 6, 1897, departed this life Jan. 20, 1939, at South Bend, Ind., at the age of 41 years, 3 months and 14 days.

He was reared on a farm near Bridgeton, receiving his education at the Bridgeton school and attending school there. In August, 1917, he enlisted in the United States army, serving two years in the service of his country.

On Dec. 23, 1922, he was united in marriage to Agnes Beatty and to this union was born two daughters, one dying in infancy and Marcia, age 10 months, surviving him.

Besides his wife and baby daughter he leaves to mourn his parting, his father, Hervey Miller of Darlington, Ind.; two brothers, Frank of South Bend.; Jim of Lagrange, Ill.; four sisters, Mrs. Oda Taylor of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Carron Casey of Marshall, Mich., Mrs. Karl Brown of Niles, Mich., and Mrs. Richard Greer of Lyford, Ind. Also two half-brothers, Jack and Joe, and two half-sisters, Jennidean and Lorraine of Darlington.

With a cheery smile
And a wave of the hand
He has passed into
That promised land
