Alberta Marie Kovalik, 72, Tampa, Fla., died on Wednesday, July 26, 2006 in Tampa.
She was born on Oct. 19, 1933 in Luray and was a daughter of the late Virgil Keller and Mottie Edith Meadows Jewell.
On Feb. 15, 1975, she married John thomas Kovalik, who survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, James B. 'Boogie' Jenkins Sr. of Luray; a brother, Ray Virgil Jewell of Stanley and three grandsons, Jeremiah Jenkins and John Joseph Jenkins, both of Luray and James Abraham Jenkins of Harrisonburg.
She was preceded in death by a brother Irvin Jewell.
