Edith Mae Taylor Seal Presgraves, 90, of Luray, Virginia passed away October 27, 2014 at home. She was born March 29, 1924 in Jollet Hollar, and was the daughter of the late Ada Cecelia Meadows Taylor and Ivan Dewey Taylor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands; Johnny Walter Seal and Bernard Rothwell Presgraves, Sr., a son; Bobby Lee Seal, her sisters; Lillie Taylor and Alberta Taylor Cubbage and her brother; Melvin Taylor.
She is survived by her daughters; Dorothy Louise Seal Shenk of Elkton and Alice Faye Seal Richards of Luray, sons Donnie Walter Seal, Bernard Rothwell Presgraves, Jr and Danny William Presgraves all of Luray, her sister; Elsie Taylor Jenkins of Luray, and 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 29, 2014 from 7-8 p.m. at Blue Ridge Funeral Service in Luray.
A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Blue Ridge Funeral Service Chapel in Luray with Pastor Terry Cave officiating.
Pallbearers will be Johnnie Shenk, David Shenk, Mikie Seal, Timmy Seal, Brandon Presgraves, Jeremy Lilliard, C. J. Campbell, Billy Buracker and James Buracker.
Burial will follow in Beahms Chapel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made Legacy Hospice.
