OBITUARIES:

Myrtle Lipham Cofield

(ROANOKE) Graveside services for Myrtle Lipham Cofield, 94, of Roanoke were
Monday, Dec. 15, 2003, at 11 a.m. at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, with the Rev.
Gordan Taylor officiating.

Mrs. Cofield died Saturday, Dec. 13, at Traylor Nursing Home in Roanoke.
Survivors include two daughters, Glenda Morrison and Pat Norred of Roanoke;
five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Keith Morrison, Ken Morrison, Barry Owens, Guy Baker, Adam
Melton and Jeffrey Baker.

A lifelong Randolph County resident, Mrs. Cofield was born March 29, 1909,
daughter of George C. and Anna Linville Lipham. She was a member of Wesley
Chapel Congregational Christian Church and had worked as a receptionist with
Randolph County Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Rex
Cofield.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Wesley Chapel Congregational
Christian Church, 1507 County Road 82, Lineville, AL 36266.
Arrangements were by Quattlebaum Funeral Home, Roanoke.
