Bessie Adams-Buxton
Bessie Maxine Adams-Buxton of Eugene died Feb. 16 of age-related causes. She was 77. A celebration of life will be held later.
She was born July 22, 1932, in Abilene, Texas, to Marshall and Mary May Mullins. She married Joe Buxton May 6, 1990, in Beaverton. He died Oct. 2, 2009.
She was an interior decorator.
Survivors include two daughters, Valerie Gotelli of Springfield and Terri McGarvey of Hermiston; a son, Anthoney Adams of Visalia, Calif.; three sisters, Amey Baker of Pasadena, Texas, Louise Pitman of Knoxville, Tenn., and Lucille Bain of Corpus Christi, Texas; and seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements by Sunset Hills Cemetery and Funeral Home in Eugene. Remembrances to the Living Hope Fellowship in Aloha.
