He also had sisters Annie christened 1876 at Bradford, Yorkshire, and Jane, (called Jenney) christened 1875 at Bradford, Yorkshire.

Sister Annie died 1946, aged 69. She was a domestic servant.

Brother Walter married Kate (Emily) Pegram 1903 and had children Gladys 1904, Leonard 1908, Phyllis 1910, Mildred 1912, and Emily 1916, all born Ilford, Essex. They also raised sister Charlotte's daughter, Charlotte Baker.

Sister Sarah married John Worthington in 1904. He died December 1904. Sarah died 1921, age 36, of typhoid fever.

Harry Chambers is said to have jumped ship and gone to Australia. [In 2011, Harry's son, Bevan, contacted the family from W. Australia and reported his father, Harry, had married Eileen J. Sinclair. They had five children: Henry John, Gwendolyn Margaret Alice, Ray Victor, Kevin Gilbert, 1939, and Bevan, 1942.]

Grace is deceased but has a daughter Grace living in the area.
