He was born on April 30, 1921, in Rileyville and was a son of the late George Thomas and Carrie Mae Cullers Wilson.
Mr. Wilson worked as a carpenter. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and served in the CCC.
On Oct. 2, 1954, he married the former Rosie Jane Sours, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, L. Faye Bolen and Karen Sue Wilson, both of Luray; two sons, Jeffrey Allen Wilson of Luray and Larry Wayne Wilson of Stanley; three children by a previous marriage; a brother, Raymond Lee Wilson of Luray; a sister, Gladys Virginia Goode of Stanley; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lloyd Thomas and Ralph William Wilson; and a sister, Violet Mae McKay.
