Celia Elizabeth Turner, 68, of Stanley, died on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2003 at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
She was born on Jan. 18, 1935 in Stanley and was a daughter of the late Clyde Carson and Edith Sevilla McCoy Cubbage.

Her first husband, Emmett Franklin Turner died on Jan. 20, 1966.

Surviving in addition to her second husband, Ray Virgil
Jewell, are a daughter, Debra K. Bruneau of Front Royal; a son, Terry Turner of Luray; five brothers, Aldine C. and Mack Cubbage, both of Stanley, Emory Cubbage of Shenandoah, Warfield M. Cubbage of Ruckersville and Lester G. Cubbage of Harrisonburg; five sisters, Ella Mae Cubbage Turner, Linda V. Cubbage Cubbage and Ellary K. Cubbage Owens, all of Stanley. Phyllis J. Gochenour of Luray and Lenora P. Cubbage Williams of Elkton;

Four granddaughters, Stacy Benner of Harrisonburg, Jennifer Turner of Stanley and Kim Turner and Emily Turner, both of Luray; one grandson, John Jenkins of Luray; and one great-grandchild, Destiny Jenkins of Stanley.

Burial was in the Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray.
