Betty Louise Long LaClef
Born February 26, 1923 in Tacoma; died peacefully October 20, 2007. Betty was the daughter of William Long, founder of Lakewood Refuse. She leaves behind two sisters, Bonnie (Long) Woody and Carol (Long)Pulley, many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Betty loved to dance. She also loved her horses, dogs, and recently took in a stray cat. She enjoyed working at Brown's Flowers for 25 years. She had a beautiful yard. She also liked spending time gardening, bird watching, swimming in her pool, and having friends over for barbecues. A simple chapel service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, October 26, 2007 at Fir Lane Funeral Home in Spanaway. Tacoma News Tribune 24 Oct 2007
