WALNUT COVE - Mrs. Ada Moser Dosher, 89, formerly of Germanton Road, died Wednesday, May 3, 2000, at Walnut Cove Healthcare Center where she was a resident. Mrs. Dosher was the widow of Washington Lafayette "Fate" Dosher who preceded her in death in 1987. Mrs. Dosher was born in Forsyth County on May 16, 1910, the daughter of the late Silas and Anna Bolejack Moser. She was a faithful member of Hickory Ridge United Methodist Church in Winston-Salem, where she had been a Sunday school teacher and a member of the United Methodist Women while health permitted. Surviving are two daughters, Betty Martin and husband Ray of Rural Hall and Kay Gordy and husband Ray of Walnut Cove; two special children, Monte Hobson of Raleigh and Bryon Hobson of Winston-Salem; five grandchildren, Penny Berrier, Vicki Stapleton, Ronald Gordy, Mark Gordy and Lisa Mabe; four great-grandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren; three sisters, Bessie Ward of Winston-Salem, Connie Grubbs of Rural Hall and Alberta Holland of Walkertown; and a brother, Gilbert Moser of High Point. Mrs. Dosher was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2000, at Hickory Ridge United Methodist Church by the Rev. Jack Danley and the Rev. Roy Grant. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Dosher family will receive friends from 7 to 9 this evening at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall and requests that memorials be directed to Hickory Ridge United Methodist Church, 6012 Germanton Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27105.
