Was Daughter of Amos Kendall, Postmaster General Under Jackson
The funeral of Mrs. Fannie Kendall Fox, who died early yesterday at her apartment in the Dupont will be held tomorrow afternoon at Oak Hill Chapel.

Mrs. Fox was the widow of Robert F. Fox, formerly a prominent realty operator of Washington and the only surviving daughter of Amos Kendall, Postmaster General under President Jackson and founder of Kendall Green for the education of deaf mutes and of Calvary Baptist Church. Mrs. Fox was 77 years old. She lived for many years at the family home at Kendall Green which afterward became Gallaudet College. She was one of Washington's foremost charity workers and prominent in the affairs of the church her father assisted in founding and in which his memory is preserved by a large marble tablet dedicated to him.

Mrs. Fox is survived by two daughters, Mrs. E. Fox Preston of this city and Mrs. William G. Oberteuffer of Washington State who will be in this city for the funeral rites.
She was the daughter of Amos Kendall (1789-1869) and Jane Kyle Kendall (1807-1864).
