Miss Amanda Lipp, 82, of 32 E. Second St., died at 3:45 a.m. today at the Maple Manor Nursing and Retirement Home following a one-year illness.

Born April 14, 1884, in Brandon, she was the daughter of Albert and Louise Fenske Lipp. Miss Lipp had spent her early life in Brandon before moving to Fond du Lac. She had been employed as a bookkeeper for the Petri Storage Co. for many years and at the former Dellman & Cooper Co. for several years. A member of Salem Evangelical United Brethren Church and the Bethany Sunday School Class, she had been a Sunday School teacher for many years.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Anna Schmidt, of Walbridge, Ohio. She was preceded in death by five sisters and four brothers.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Candlish Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, Rev. Harold C. Fischer officiating. Burial will be in Rienzi Cemetery.
