Melburn J. Dimond, Republican, a member of the Committee on the Agricultural college, was born at Danville, Jan 25, 1858.
He was educated at Atkinson Academy, New Ipswich, and at Colby Academy, New London. He is a farmer by occupation and for five years has served as postmaster. Four years he was superintendent of the Rockingham County Farm; and for four years he was chairman of the board of selectmen.
Mr. Dimond is a member of Gideon Lodge of
Masons of Kingston, St. Albans Chapter of Exeter, and Eastern Star of Kingston, Rockingham Lodge No. 17, A.O.U.W.; and overseer of the Danville Grange No.187, Patrons of Husbandry.
