Death certificate shows he was the son of Jehial Chappell and Catherine Courser (both of Vermont, Male, white, married, occupation building mover, born January 10, 1843 Vermont and passed away February 2, 1911 in Saint Louis, Gratiot Co., MI at the age of 68 years and 22 days, cause of death Cerebral hemorrhage. Informant Mrs. Carrie E. Chappell and burial was on February 5, 1911 in St. Louis, MI.
