Ben F. Moore, a prominent resident of Jones County, and brother of the late C. B. Moore, a former merchant of Macon, died at 7 o'clock yesterday morning at his home near James Station. He was a retired farmer, 71 years of age.
Mr. Moore is survived by four nephews and two nieces, G. B., J. R., and Mitchell Moore, of Jones County, and C. B. Moore, of Macon; Mrs. Claude Gibson, of East Point, Ga., and Mrs. Tobe Avery, of Jones County.
The funeral will be held at 12 o'clock noon today at Flat Shoals Cemetery.
