OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN)

Margaret M. Kendall, 79, a resident at Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester, IN, died Thursday, Jan. 7, 1999 at Wabash County Hospital.

She was born May 2, 1919 in Wabash County, IN to Hugh and Bessie (Barker) Flora.

She married Josiah D. Kendall on March 24, 1940 in Wabash and he died May 7, 1990. Margaret was a member of the Wabash Christian Church, the Martha Circle, a former deaconate in the church, and a member of the Wabash County Hospital Auxiliary. She was a 1937 graduate of Roann High School, and was retired from the Wabash First National Bank in 1981 after 25 years.

She is survived by two sons Fred Kendall of Huntington, IN and Daniel Kendall of Wabash; four grandchildren and a great grandson.

Funeral service was held Sunday, Jan. 10, 1999 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Main St. Chapel with Rev. Ron Zorn officiating. Burial was in Falls Cemetery, Wabash, IN. Preferred memorials are to the Wabash Christian Church. Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.
