Arlie E. Chandler, 64, Athens, died Wednesday at the Huntsville Hospital.
The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home chapel with Jerry Curry and Sam Binkley officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Chandler was a veteran of World War II and was a prisoner of war.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Billye Chandler; a son, Steven Chandler of Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Christy Pepper and Mrs. Kathy Davis, both of Athens; his mother, Mrs. Sallie Chandler of Athens; five sisters, Mrs. Esterleen Brackeen of Athens, Mrs. Elaine Conn of Capshaw, Mrs. Dorene Dunnivant, Mrs. Vernice Cagle and Mrs. Annie Sue Bowers, all of Decatur; two brothers, Everett Chandler of Cullman and E.M. Chandler Jr. of South Carolina; and five grandchildren.
