By 1850 He and family are living in Bliss, Wyoming, New York. Michael was the boss of a railroad track gang for what became the Buffalo, Rochester and Pittsburg RR and later the B & O Railroad.
By 1860 the family are in Remsen, Oneida Co., NY with what looks like his brother Malachi Fallon living next door. I also have a census record of the whole family linving in Boonville, New York also 1860 and by 1870 in Lenox, Madison, NY. They moved around a lot working for the railroad.
By 1872 Bridget purchased property in Cherry Valley, Ohio and the majority of the family had moved to Ashtabula Co. by 1880 with the exception of their son Michael who remained in NY building bridges.
About 1881 the family having seen the offer of land in Graceville, Big Stone County, MN, chose to pick the family up one last time and head there.
From the Gracevill Transcript Democrat dated 5 Jul 1890 his obit:
"On Monday morning, June 30th, Michael Fallon died at his home in the town of Walls, Traverse county at the age of seventy-two years, after an illness of several months. The funeral was held on Wednesday, the remains interred in the Graceville cemetery after impressive services at the Catholic church in Collis. The deceased was a few years ago a resident of Graceville and was well known to the place and vicinity where he was universally held in esteem and respect. He was an exemplary Catholic and his death was consistent with his faith. He leaves a wife and eight sons and daughters to mourn for him. Mr. Fallon was born in County Roscommon, Ireland, but most of his life has been spent in America.
