Marvin served his country in the Army/Air Force during WWII as the ground crew chief on the B-24. In the early 50's he moved his family to Austin where he took a job as a lineman with the City, retiring after 25 years of service. He was a longtime member of Crestview United Methodist Church.
Mr. Marburger is preceded in death by his loving wife, Viola dn is survived by his two children, Judy and her husband Charlie Bright; and Terry and his wife Teresa. He has two grandchildren, Tracy Brown and her husband Korey; and Aaron Bright and his wife Sharon. He also has four great-grandchildren, Rachel and Christina Brown and Priscilla and Annabelle Bright.
Interment with military honors at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
