Margaret Glasgow Davis Lanman, daughter of David and Henrietta Davis, was born in Davis county, Iowa, December 4, 1847, and departed this life November 20, 1936, at the age of 88 years, 11 months and 15 days. On September 19, 1873, she was united in marriage to Reuben Lanman. To this union 2 sons, and 2 daughters were born. Effie L who died May 17, 1878; Harvey M who died April 20, 1900; David A Lanman of Pheonix; and Mrs Clara Dahlgren of Bloomfield. Besides her two living children and their companions, she leaves to mourn her passing five grandchildren, Harley, Willis, Paul and Beulah Lanman and Mrs Leona Heady, also 1 great grandchild Mary Heady, and one sister Mrs Sarah Bates of Eldon. The memorial service was held in the Bethlehem church on November 22, by L R Hudson. The burial was in the Bethlehem cemetery.
