Gordon is the son of Walter and Minnie Weber Hughes. He was born in West Branch Township on Rainbow Ave.. He was delivered by his Grandmother Belle Hoffman Weber. As a young boy he worked in the mines carring dynamite. He decided he did not want to work like this the rest of his life. He went to Buffalo, NY and learned a trade. He was hired by Curtiss Wright Aeronautical Corp. in Woodridge, NJ as a Machine Shop foreman for 25 years before his death. His hobby was repairing used TVs. He loved children, Frankie's Market Auctions, vacations in FL, his Kaiser, cleaning the Thanksgiving turkey, his brother Richard and sister Marion and most of all his family. He died at the age of 50 and never saw his grandchildren. He would have loved them all dearly. God bless you and keep you. You are loved and remembered always.
