Mrs. Edith Wise Conner was briefly the first wife of Jowell Conner (my maternal grandfather). She had been previously married to Mr. Andrew Major Davis (later changed to Franklyn Major Davis), from Texas, and would marry a third time.
It is unknown why at the time of her death she continued to use the last name of Conner.
Edith had from her first marriage a daughter, Evelyn, who married Walter K, Hartford, and was still living in OKC at the time of her mother's passing.
