Mrs. Ada L. Waymire, 77, the last member of the well-known Cathcart family, died Friday at 1 p.m. at her residence, 302 Forest Av. She had been suffering from heart disease during the past six weeks.

She was the daughter of the late James Cathcart of this city. Her father was engaged in the livery business for many years, his stables being on the present site of the Journal-Herald building. He died many years ago, and her brothers, Albert and Columbus Cathcart, also preceded her in death.

Her husband was Austin Waymire, who died 14 years ago. He was a member of the once-prolific family, members of which lived on farms in the vicinity of Polk Church.

Mrs. Waymire was a member of St. John's German Lutheran Church.

She leaves her son, Jack Waymire, who is employed at Wilbur Wright Field; her daughter, Mrs. Glenna Fravel, of Middletown, Pa.; and her grandson, Robert R. Fravel.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at the house. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.
