Rose Jennie Madsen, 71, formerly of Alliance, died at 7 a.m. Tuesday at Laurel Care Center in Massillon.
She was born in Alliance, where she lived most of her life, Sept. 26, 1928, to Michael and Amelia (Taravascu) Haiduk. She was a graduate of Alliance High School and a former liner at GEM Clay Products.
Mrs. Madsen was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and participated in the Massillon Bible Study Class at The Laurels.
She married Jacob J. Madsen in 1942. She died in 1980.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister, Ann Aebi.
