Lee Roy Baker Died Monday
Lee Roy Baker of Lipan, died Monday, December 17, 1962 in the Granbury General Hospital after a long illness. He was born April 18, 1897 near Lipan and had been a resident of the county all his life. He was a farm and rancher. He had been a member of the Baptist Church since 1918.
Mr. Baker was married to Miss Golden Allen on June 2, 1918 in Stephenville. His wife and one son, James W. Baker, a grandson Donny Wayne Baker all of Lipan and one sister, Mrs. Minnie Bain of Lubbock survive.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 19. 1962 at the First Baptist Church in Lipan with Rev. Howard Ramsey officiating.
Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery, Terry Funeral Chapel in charge.
