She graduated from Emporia Kansas State College and was a teacher before she retired. She was past matron of Martha Chapter #73, Order of Eastern Star and a member of Alpha Delta Kappa.
She married Carl M Morris on April 12, 1916 in Burlington. He died in 1960. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs Blanche Brooks of Omaha, Neb., 3 sisters, Mrs Ada Theobald, Mrs Audrey Hudson and Mrs Irvie Hill all of Burlington, a brother Claude Keever of Kansas City and 2 grandsons.
