MATTINGLY - Martha Ella (Curry), 80, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2008. A loving wife and mother, she was born October 5, 1927. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara M. Noe. She was a retired nursing assistant with Jewish Hospital and a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, where she was saved on August 1, 2004 and baptized on September 5, 2004. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Joseph Mattingly Sr; daughters, Linda S. Arnett (David), Cox's Creek, KY, Shirley A. Adair (Ronald), New Hope, KY, Marcia E. Pfeister (Clift), Fairdale, KY, and Betty J. Ramser (Herbert), Breckenridge, KY; sons, Joseph Mattingly Jr. (Anita), Litchfield, ME, Michael A. Mattingly (Wanda), Louisville, and Thomas K. Mattingly, Louisville; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and brother, Paul Curry. Funeral service: 10 a.m. Saturday, Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation: 2-8 p.m. Friday.
