Mrs. Henry Carroll of New Haven died after long illness.

Funeral services were held Saturday morning at St. Peter's Catholic church in New Haven for Mrs. Henry Carroll, 72, longtime resident of the New Haven area, who died Aug. 18. (1966). Mrs. Carroll has been in ill health and was confined to her home 15 years.

Officiating at the requim high mass was the Rev. Gregory Hemesath, church pastor. The Rev. J. J. Britz was in charge of the rites at St. Peter's cemetery in New Haven.

Gertrude Mary Helfter was born Jan. 1, 1894, in Thrope Wis. the daughter of George L. and Mary Derfus Helfter. While she was in her infancy her mother died and she was reared by her grandmother, Mrs. John Glassner, until her
father remarried. She attended the schools in Osage, Little Cedar....
