BAUMGARDNER, Gwendolyn E. Age 88 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2006 in Carrollton, Ga. She was born on November 23, 1917 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Edward Nelson and Mary Catharine Adkins. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Baumgardner. Also going before her in death are her son, Edward N.; daughter, Carlene Dodge; and son-in-law, Gene Smith. She is survived by daughter, Betty Smith; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Debbie; son, Bobby D.; daughter-in- law, Ann; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Gwendolyn was a very strong woman and loved every member of her family. She will be greatly missed. Prayers will be held at 9:15 AM Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME - BELMONT CHAPEL, 648 Watervliet Ave. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 820 Bowen St., Dayton. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday, June 5, at the funeral home. We will miss you Gwen.
